Legal Basis & Purposes of Processing
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), and other applicable laws that regulate the processing of your personal data.
The scope of our data collection may include, for example: your name, surname, e-mail address and phone number. Regardless of the legal basis on which we process your personal data, we take care not to keep more information than is necessary for the purpose for which the data is processed.
We process your data in order to:
- Perform the Agreement (including handling of any complaints) — the legal basis is that processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement, i.e. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- Fulfil the statutory obligations of Accolade Pro, resulting in particular from tax and accounting regulations, including the need to issue an invoice or other accounting evidence and its archiving — the legal basis is a legal obligation, i.e. Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
- Identify persons authorised to represent the Client — the legal basis is a legitimate interest consisting in the proper execution of the subject matter of the agreement, i.e. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- Establish, investigate or defend against possible claims — the legal basis is a legitimate interest consisting in the protection of our rights, i.e. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data Retention
The duration of data processing depends on the legal basis and the purpose of the processing. As a general rule, data are processed:
- Until you withdraw your consent to data processing, in the case of processing of personal data on the basis of obtained consent, i.e. Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- Until such time as is necessary for the performance of the agreement, in the case of processing of personal data for the performance of the agreement, i.e. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- Until you object, in the case of processing of personal data on the basis of a legitimate legal interest, i.e. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We will always delete data that is no longer required by a relevant law or jurisdiction in which we operate.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data;
- Obtain a copy of your personal data;
- Rectify or supplement your personal data;
- Request removal of your data;
- Restrict the processing of your data where circumstances justify such a request;
- Object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the Controller;
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country.
